The Legend of Tadayori: A Closer Look

This album details a Quest I worked on closely with one of our Designers Daniel Gavrin. The Legend of Tadayori is a quest in Ghost that very specifically uses the environment to guide the player to the different mission objectives. Jin comes across a BIWA HOSHI (literally a "lute priest"), singing a tale about a legendary archer named Tadayori and his Legendary Armor, said to have been a gift from the kami Hachiman himself. The musician tells Jin that the long lost memorial is somewhere in the north of Azamo, atop a "Violet Crown", an isolated spot where Tadayori meditated. Throughout the mission, the player must follow the purple flowers in order to find the clues and claim the armor. So much credit goes to our Biome team for the beautiful foliage work used so heavily in these environments.
